MAC Address Vendor Lookup

53,000+ vendor assignments straight from the IEEE Registration Authority (the MA-L, MA-M, and MA-S registries — 24-, 28-, and 36-bit blocks). Accepts any common format. Runs entirely client-side; nothing you type here is sent anywhere.

A note on "locally administered" addresses

The second-least-significant bit of a MAC address's first byte is the U/L ("universal/local") bit. When it's set, the address was assigned locally — by a hypervisor, a VPN client, Android's per-network privacy MAC randomization, or manually — rather than drawn from a vendor's IEEE-registered block, so there's no vendor to look up. This tool flags that case explicitly instead of just saying "not found."
